Excess humidity can be a problem for any part of the house. However, some areas may be more prone to dampness than others. For example, basements and crawl spaces are particularly damp and cold due to their location underground. SaniDry dehumidifiers are specially built for efficient and high-performance humidity control in wet basements.
The SaniDry Sedona and SaniDry XP dehumidifiers are designed and manufactured by Basement Systems, Inc. and distributed through hundreds of dealers across the United States and Canada. These basement dehumidifiers have the power to remove over 100 pints of moisture a day in a wet basement.
Basement Systems combined high-capacity dehumidification and a compact, lightweight build to create the new SaniDry Sedona. Together with other basement drying and repair equipment, air conditioners, and crawl space insulation products and services, this energy efficient dehumidifier provides an ideal humidity solution for basements and crawl spaces.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier system is the most recent innovation from Basement Systems, providing effective humidity control in its most compact form yet. It is the most efficient and powerful dehumidifier in its size, rated for high energy efficiency and more savings in the long run.
The SaniDry Sedona can collect 2.9 liters of water per kw hour of electricity, removing moisture up to 100 pints per day. With the Sedona, there is no need to empty any buckets of water for effective operation. It’s equipped with an automatic draining system for your greater convenience.
The Sedona dehumidifier features a built-in automatic humidistat and a digital display that lets you set and maintain proper humidity levels in the basement. When humidity is set, the dehumidifier will cycle on and off after a certain period to adjust the humidity to your preferred setting.
This SaniDry dehumidifier also includes a MERV 8 filter to protect internal components and clean the air from dust, mold spores, dust mites, and other impurities and odor-causing particles in the air.
SaniDry XP Dehumidifier
The SaniDry XP is larger in form and capacity than the Sedona unit. This energy saver is rated to remove up to 109 pints of water per day while consuming almost the same amount of power as a typical residential dehumidifier.
This basement dehumidifier is equipped with a built-in defrost system that allows the unit to work even in cooler temperatures down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. It has easy-to-use controls with digital settings where you can select your desired relative humidity level from 45% to 90% RH. It also includes a blower switch so you can turn on or turn off the blower fan even when the unit is not dehumidifying.
This high-capacity dehumidifier offers a continuous draining option through a drain hose. Just connect the hose and direct it down to a low-level drain. You can also extend the drain hose using a ½-inch PVC pipe.
