Design

First, you need to look for a unit that will easily blend in with your decor, without being too noticeable. The size and weight are also two of the main factors that are also of great importance. It has all the features you need in order to ensure that a normal level of humidity is maintained in your house. This is the first model to use the desiccant rotor technology. This new technology provides a high volume of dehumidification, compared to the dehumidifiers that use a compressor. This actually refers to the special humidity-absorbing material called a desiccant which is exposed to the air. The humidity-saturated material is then transferred to another location, where it is “recharged” to lower the humidity, typically by heating it. However, this technology has some little disadvantages: it can warm up your room instead of cooling it. It comes with a built-in ionizer and an electronic louver which will make it much easier to use. Moreover, it features a dryer more which includes a turbo setting for winter and a power saving setting for summer. A great feature of this product is the auto restart feature. In case there’s a power failure, your device will restart and continue to operate once the power is restored.

Energy Efficiency
When it comes to energy consumption, it consumes little energy, compared to units that use a compressor. The level of energy power is similar to a 40-watt bulb. It features a quiet operation: 34db at low fan speed; 51db at high fan speed. Needless to say that this efficient model is environmentally friendly because it doesn’t contain any gases that may be harmful to your health and home. Other Considerations for the Eva Dry EDV-4000
Implied warranties of dehumidifiers are often offered for a period not exceeding one (1) year, as in the case of this model. A 1-year warranty covers the necessary repairs, but it doesn’t include labor cost. Most products operate for years without failures; the costly repairs after the warranty expires cannot exceed the initial cost of the device.
