A dehumidifier is a very helpful unit that helps you control the moisture level in a very easy and efficient way. Living in a house with a high level of humidity can have a negative effect on your health, so it’s best to make all the necessary steps in order to avoid this from happening. The practical solution is to invest in a model such as the Ivation IVADM45, which is very efficient and comes at a reasonable price. The selling price of the unit is $99.99 and it has a compact size, it’s lightweight and very easy to use. We also love the fact that this particular unit is energy-efficient and the water tank has a great water capacity. More details about the product will be presented in the review below, so read it and see if it’s the right one for your needs.
This device features a sleek, modern design, that will fit in any house decor. According to the manufacturer, this mid-size unit measures 13.75 x 8.58 x 7 inches and weighs 7 pounds, which makes it quite lightweight. At the same time, the fact that it’s very light you can easily transport it from one room to another, having also the possibility to place your hand on the convenient groove from the back of the unit. It is completely white, except for the sleek black line traced out on the middle. At the top of the black line are positioned the lights that tell you whether it is on or if the water tank is full. Below the lights are the up and down buttons that allow you to select the desired humidity level. The selected humidity level is displayed in figures. Furthermore, the removable water tank is positioned at the back of the unit.
To begin with, this is a thermoelectric unit suitable for rooms up to 2,200 cubic feet that can efficiently squeeze up to 25 oz. of water per day. In square feet, that would be around 220, but we advise you to use the unit in much smaller rooms because it is designed to work at its best in small rooms where it can easily draw the air. Among the most important features of the unit is the auto humidity, which is a great plus because you can select a certain relative humidity level anywhere in the range of 40%-80%. Once the humidity level increases more than 5% of the selected level, it will turn on automatically. At the same time, in case the RH level decreases more than 5% of the selected level, the unit will turn off by itself. This feature is very convenient because you just have to set the unit at the desired RH level and forget about it. Furthermore, the water tank has a size of 68 oz., so it can hold water for approximately 2.5 days of continuous running before reaching the full capacity. However, in order to avoid any incidents, it is programmed to shut off automatically when the water reservoir has reached its capacity. When it’s time to empty the tank out you will be announced by the full indicator light. Additionally, the model uses Peltier technology instead of a compressor, which makes it very powerful and silent. It creates 49 dB while operating, which is good compared to other models that create up to 62 dB but it’s still not the quietest one out there.

This model renders an efficient operation every time you need to extract the moisture, mildew, dust particles, or unpleasant odors from your house, office, and so on. The dehumidifier draws 72 watts of power, so you won’t see a significant change in your electricity bills, so it’s a small price to pay for the benefits you receive. Therefore, the electricity consumption should be your last concern if you consider purchasing the unit because it will basically pay for itself.
From our point of view, this is a great value for the price, being a reliable choice for everyone who wants to efficiently dehumidify the house and breath a healthy air. At the same time, the unit is very easy to use and the convenient controls allow you to set the desired humidity level and just let it run. At the same time, you should know that the model doesn’t feature a continuous drainage, so you’ll you have to modify the tank if you want a continuous drainage. We weren’t able to find any information regarding the warranty available so we can’t say how the manufacturer stands for their product.
